As a programmatic and guiding document for the management and evaluation of the middle school history curriculum, the middle school history curriculum standard is the basis for the compilation of the middle school history textbook, the curriculum implementation, the examination and evaluation, and the examination proposition. Since the founding of PRC, the previous reform of basic education in the process of middle school history curriculum standard, a total of 20, including 7 junior high school history curriculum standards, 7 high school history curriculum standards, and 6 mixed history curriculum standards.60 years of vicissitudes, from the copy of the original the Soviet model to exploring localization according to the actual situation of basic education in PRC, after the "Cultural Revolution" hit, reconstruction and adjustment, in the late 1980 s, to meet the challenge and go on quality education transformation, to the 21 st century, middle school history curriculum standard changes from the "Syllabus" to "curriculum standard". At the same time of the promulgation of the new middle school history curriculum standard inheritance syllabus of reasonable factors, the shackles of the syllabus has been broken through, in terms of the curriculum goal, curriculum content,teaching methods, teaching evaluation and so on realized leap of China’s new middleschool history curriculum standard development process. On the trace of the development of middle school history curriculum standard, middle school history curriculum standard’s development pay more attention from history curriculum itself to the needs of students and development. Especially after the reform and opening up to the outside world, the middle school curriculum goals setting pay more and more attention to the comprehensive development of individual students, the adjustment of curriculum content continued to close to the social reality and the reality of the students,teaching methods changing gradually from the teacher-centered to the student-centered.The reform of teaching evaluation promotes the development of students as the main purpose.From sticking to systematicness and integrity of the middle school history curriculum system to student center, attention is paid to students’ psychological development and personality and lifelong development needs. The overall development of China’s new middle school history curriculum standard is with the trend of the development of the times, and is still moving on in a scientific and independent way.The preparation of future middle school history curriculum standard must adhere to the value that student-centered, stick to the general direction of quality education, adapt to the needs of the development of politics, economy and culture, outstanding social and economic development of talent training and the new requirements. Great attention must be paid to the cultivation of students’ innovative spirit and practical ability. The individuality and the comprehensive development of students should be promoted. It should pay close attention to students’ lifelong development, promote the further deepening China’s modern middle school history curriculum reform, and promote the healthy development of our country middle school history curriculum in a scientific way.
