| With a new round of elementary education curriculum reform innational expansion, teachers of junior middle school are shouldering themore important mission in the elementary education. Their roles have ahuge shift compared with those of the past, from the outside of thecurriculum system to gradual involvement in internal activities of that, sothey are more and more urgent to obtain the curriculum power. The newcurriculum reform requires to decentralize the curriculum power, so thatmore teachers can possess that and have a good understanding of it; andthe new curriculum reform aims that teachers can promote the all-rounddevelopment of students, enhance their own professional ability andimprove the teaching quality by carrying out the curriculum power.Thispaper chooses Chengmai county, Hainan as an example to investigate thecurriculum power of the junior middle school teachers and analye thedilemma and causes by combination of quality and quantity researchmethods, in order to provide effective suggestions for the realization ofthe curriculum power.The basic content of this paper is as follows:The first part is the introduction. This part aims to know the basic situation and majorproblems of junior middle school teachers’ implementation of thecurriculum power by using questionnaire and interview, and analyzes the main causes from the perspective of practice on the basis of the researchresult.The fifth part is the suggestions of teacher’s curriculum power.
