As curriculum reform of basic education is pushed on, teaching staff, especially, pedagogical practitioners in schools have an in-depth cognition step by step in curriculum, curriculum reform which teachers have power to participate in and to make teachers as masters of curriculum. The term, "teachers' curriculum power", and correlative problems have been dominant issues of people. What is teachers' curriculum power? Which curriculum powers should teachers have? etc. These problems have troubled teachers in the course of implementing new curriculum of basic education at all times.This article fends to define teachers' curriculum power correctly, hackles problems and its genetic analysis which consist in teachers' curriculum power in high schools and elementary schools of China currently, and gives some feasible advice for realizing teachers' curriculum power on the base of contingent supporting which continuously rich meaning of "curriculum" and "power" gives.The thesis consists of six parts. Part one: introduction, simply introducing the background, methods and meanings. Part two: definition of curriculum power of teachers. On the base of research on power in past, it gives definition of curriculum power of teachers. Part three: source of curriculum power of teachers. It analyzes source of curriculum power of teachers. Part four: content of curriculum power of teachers. It puts forward content of curriculum power of teachers. Part five: problems and their genetic analysis which consist in teachers' curriculum power in high, junior and elementary schools of China currently. These problems include the phenomena of nihility, going by the board, misapplication, absence of curriculum power of teachers in the creating process of curriculum. Their genetic analysis comprise restrictions on times of laws and regulations on education and lacking of "curriculum regulation", inertia of managerial system and evaluation system of curriculum, and deficiency of teachers' curriculum accomplishment.
