Topic Research Of Thailand Elementary Chinses Textbooks In Middle Scafoot

Chinese language teaching in Thailand is in good developing period, butat the same time there are many factors restraining its further development. As themedium of instruction, Chinese textbooks haven’t fully met Thailand’s currentteaching needs. Textbook topic needs continued improvement in the aspects ofinterest, relevance and practicality.There are five parts in this paper to discuss the improved methods of Thailandelementary Chinese textbook in topic aspects. The introduction part organized andcategorized other thesis related to this paper and illustrated the research object andmethod. The first chapter overviewed Thailand Northeast area and Thailand’s middleschool education situation, as well as introduced Thailand middle school Chineseteachers’ basic situation combined with the research result made during author’sThailand internship and students’ general performance in Chinese class. The secondchapter introduced Chinese textbook using situation at the investigation area, andmade statistics analysis on topics from textbooks “Experience Chinese and “HappyChinese”, and this paper found there are four insufficient aspects existing from theaspect of topic set. The third chapter, according to author’s personal teaching practice,the paper did two exploration on how to improve Chinese textbook topic set andteaching: first is adding topics based on the daily life of Thailand Northeast area,second is designing promote topics while teaching in class, and listed two teachingprograms. The conclusions part has described the insufficient of this research, andmade expectations of further researches.Through research reports and based on the field survey of existing documentation,data and visited information, records of teaching and teaching reflective materials,as well as specific situation of middle school Chinese course in Thailand NorthPakthongchai Pakchaniramit, this article presented suggestions on the topic teaching.
