With the peoples’ attention to the professional development of teachers, education researchers pay more attention to teaching reflection, as one of important ways to advance the professional development of teachers. A teacher continually reflects on her teaching behavior, not only can improve her teaching level, but also can enhance the teaching efficiency and increase students’ examination performance and learning interest.The author builds a simple teaching reflection model--"two stages one reflection" model using the teaching reflection theory and the specific teaching cases, and combining with my Chemistry teaching practices in high school. I have teaching experiments applying "two stages one reflection" model in my school, and get some practical conclusions and understanding for teaching reflection through teaching experiments and cases analysis.I developed teaching experiments applying "two stages one reflection" model in two classes whose learning levels were similar. Class Two (1) and class Two (3) were the control class and the experimental class respectively. The experimental period was one term. Firstly, I had a lesson in Class Two (1), then immediately reflected it on teaching method, teaching content and teaching goal after class. I had the same lesson in Class Two (3) next day, but I improved it with reflection achievements. The experimental effects were evaluated with examination performance and student interview etc. The experimental results showed that examination performance of experimental class was better than that of control class, and the students of experimental class preferred to proactively think and bravely speak in class, and showed more interested in Chemistry."Two stages one reflection" model is only a kind of model of teaching reflection, whose essence is the reflection awareness and activity of teachers, and can be changed or improved. The major limitation of this paper is that the reflections on teaching cases are largely my personal ideas basing on the effect of classroom teaching and feedback of students. The reflection depth needs to be improved due to my limited knowledge.
