In history teaching of the middle school, the dialogue between the historical data andthe teacher and students is the most basic and direct part.At the same time, history theory isthe component of indirect cognitive before contacting the historical data.The central issueof history is based on the view that objective knowledge about the past can only beacquired by historian’s subjective experience. The development of history is an importantpart of history. We should comb the history theory to grasp the nature of history.History teaching is an important part of history. And discussing the application andvalue of the history theory is an inevitable part in the history teaching, and it is also thecombination of the teaching theory and practice. This article only illustrate the historyteaching from three history theories. Rank’s objectivism of historical criticism,annalsschool interdisciplinary interpretation,and Colin’s theory of the historical context are threeimportant western historiography theories.Because it is simple and easy to practice,it isselected to analyze the historical data teaching.It is the basis and example for teachingfrom the subject itself and the practice.Historiography theory and historical materials in the field of teaching is not only ahistory major component, also reflect the history of human pursuit: Rank’s objectivismhistoriography criticism is to eliminate the false and retain the truth. Annals school ofhistorical interdisciplinary is to help people know the life of the whole world.And Colin’stheory is to help students learn to understand the past.Due to the implementation of thenew curriculum standard, the historical data teaching is becoming more important inhistory teaching of middle school. Its application and the value is quite worth exploring.Historical data teaching is one of the key teaching methods in history teaching,thoughits emergence and developmen is full of difficulties and challenges. After all, it represents the future and development of the history teaching in middle school.Through the analysisof the application and value of history theory in teaching, the teachers and students canfurther understand the kernel and extension of this excellent teaching method,improvingthe efficiency and quality of the history teaching.
