The new curriculum reform advocates more active communication among teachers,collective lesson preparation with distinctive forms provides an effective platform forcommunication among teachers. It condenses the teachers’ collective wisdom and improvesthe teaching quality. It promotes teachers’ professional development too. However, due tothe emphasis to the collective lesson preparation of different schools in different places andthe deviation of our concept, in the process of the implementation of the collective lessonpreparation, we are lack of enough institutional guarantee, humanistic atmosphere andenvironment of cooperation and so on, abilities of group leaders and backbone teachers arelimited as well, collective lesson preparation meets the query and challenge. To this, on thebasis of my understanding to collective lesson preparation, from the principle, program,content, consciousness and evaluation way of collective lesson preparation, the authordemonstrates what the effective modes of collective lesson preparation are. I also writeabout the specific rules and methods of collective lesson preparation through the case studyof Zhenchuan Senior High School. In general, it is very effective to the continuabledevelopment of a school.
