The new curriculum reform has been conducting in the high schools inBayannao’er City since the autumn of2009. And some related aspects haveundergone great variation, such as teaching philosophy, teaching content, teaching methods, and teaching evaluation and so on, which requires theteach’ers transformation more definitely than before. Consequently, on theirown initiative, the teachers need to achieve the transform from the idea to thebehavior comprehensively and profoundly, in order to adapt to therequirements of new curriculum reform. It is the key for the new curriculum reform to be further deepened and toachieve actual effect that if the teachers, as the final practitioners, are able toadapt to the new curriculum reform, if they have the ability to internalize andabsorb the new ideas, teaching methods and learning methods, which the newcurriculum reform advocates, and if they can reflect them through teachingbehavior. To better understand the adaptation of politics teachers to the newcurriculum reform in high schools, this thesis aims to propose some practicalcountermeasures and suggestions through the comprehensive analysis of theadaptation of politics teachers to the new curriculum reform in high schools ofB’ayannaoer City since the implementation of the reform, based on the waysof questionnaires, on-scene interviews, and classroom observation etc, andcombined with the teaching practice. The research results show that the adaptability of politics teachers to thenew curriculum reform in high schools of Bayannao’er City has thedevelopment trend of sound progress, that most of the teachers have goodself-development planning and the awareness of cooperation, approve the newcurriculum reform and actively participate in it, and that the educationalconcepts and teaching behavior of the teachers have changed dramatically. But in the process of implementing the new curriculum, there exist some problems, such as teachers’ pressure, the discordance between awareness andactions. Moreover the overall quality of teachers and teaching methods shouldbe further improved. In addition, the curriculum resources are underdeveloped, the secondary development of teaching materials shares a smaller proportion. Then for the reform, the support, which comes from education administrativedepartments and schools, remains to be further improved; the enthusiasm ofthe teachers awaits to be increased.Based on the analysis of the existing problems, this thesis also points outthat the external factors, which results in that the teachers cannot adapt to thenew curriculum reform, are concluded as the following aspects, such as thedifferent professional status of the teachers, the different professionaltreatment, the inadequacy of training mechanism, the backward situation ofevaluation system reform, and the education background of traditionalteachers etc; and that the internal factors are including the weakness of thet’eachers professional knowledge, the psychological in-adaptation, the lack oftheir own qualities etc.Furthermore on account of the above problems and reasons, thesuggestions that politics teachers adapt to the new curriculum reform in highschools are finally proposed in this thesis, by means of the six aspects—emphasizing the uniqueness of the subjects, deepening teaching reform, innovating teaching methods and means, optimizing the curriculum setting, reformi’ng the evaluation system and strengthening the teachers training etc.
