Experiment is the foundation of the formation and development of lifescience, and also an important approach for students to understand andacquire knowledge. It can stimulate students’ interest in learning, and trainstudents’ ability of independent learning and innovation.With the developmentof economy, the need for innovative and practical talents becoming more andmore urgent in our society,but, the traditional education can not meet thedemand for talents, the reform of elementary education must be enforced.Under the globalization curriculum reformation, our country’s elementaryeducation curriculum reform is being pushed forward, biological experimentis becoming a very important part in the textbook, the demand for students’experimental ability is higher in the new curriculum standard. Therefore,strengthening biological experimental teaching is an important approach toadapt the new curriculum reform. Experimental teaching should be animportant part of biological teaching.In order to understand the status of biological experiment teaching, inthis study,the author does survey on biology teachers and students byquestionnaires survey in6high schools in Tongliao city. The investigationresults show that, the elementary education is developing steadily; teachersand professional quality is strong, they have high request for experimentalteaching, and hope educational authorities and schools can provide moresupport. But, the experimental teaching has some deficiencies, for instance,equipment and materials can not ensure the activity of experiment; Teachersand students have not a clear understanding of the experiment; Experimentalteaching is still regarded as a assistant introduction;teaching pattern istraditional and the methods are simple etc..It could create that the rate ofopened experiment is low.In addition,when we contrast the survey dates of key schools and ordinary schools,the author found that they have somedifference in materials. It shows that the educational investment is unbalancedin this city, The author also think that is one of the main reasons for low rateof opened experiment.In view of the problems in biological experiment classes, and on thebasis of relevant references,and combined with the reflection of teachers andstudents in the questionnaire, the author gives some advances: Relevantfunctional departments of education should increase financial input,reasonably arrange the experimental lesson; improving teachers and students’understanding of experiment; enhancing the teacher team construction;exploring the reform of experiment teaching actively etc.. |
