School guidance and counseling has experienced hundreds of years. After acentury of development and improvement, its connotation and extension have beenrichly changed. At the same time, according to their actual, each country forms uniquenational characteristics of student guidance content and system. Such as, service ofUS, direction of the French guidance, and career education of the UK.In our country, ordinary school teaching exist a large number of the studentsguidance. But this guidance is still unable to conceptualize, also no system ofspecialized system. In China mainland, school guidance and counseling job mainlydepends on a series of school system, such as the teacher in charge system, the systemof school moral education, mental health education system, and high school courseselection guide system. A lot of problem has been presented, such as strongdependence, blindness and randomness, and lack of professional, systemic, pertinence,weak independence. So it cannot satisfy all aspects of the development of the highschool students at present stage.At the condition of student development guidance system in the mainland ofChina has not been established, all teachers has the responsibility to guide students’development. Guidance and teaching are interrelated; the guiding ideology can bepenetrated and reflected in the process of teaching. We should concern about how tochange knowledge into the resources of students’ inner body development, toencourage and motivate the students’ development. Subject Teaching is one of themost important ways of student development guidance in the mainland of China. Forevery high school teacher, they not only pay attention to whether students grasp thediscipline knowledge, must also be concerned about the relationship between thesubject and the lifelong development of students. Teaching must be regarded as one ofthe carriers of the career development of students. Only do these things, teachers cantruly realize the responsibility of the "teaching". As a basic subject, mathematics has avital role for personal development and social development. Therefore, inmathematics teaching, teachers should make clear their guiding consciousness, give full play to the leading role, to help students plan their occupation, direction.
