Objective:This study randomly selected60patients with periarthritis of shoulder, taijiquanand functional exercise intervention respectively,to explore different ways ofprevention and cure function of quantitative rehabilitation exercise on scapulohumeralperiarthritis. The clinical efficacy of the two groups, from different angles anddifferent aspects, multifaceted evaluation of different sports rehabilitation for patientswith Scapulohumeral periarthritis, Taijiquan provide research data for the preventionand control of the elderly in the Scapulohumeral periarthritis areas.Method:From Changhai Hospital, Yangpu District and affiliated health care centers inDecember2012to July2013collected60patients met the inclusion criteria, withrandom assignment method to hide the patient in accordance with the ratio of1:1,randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental grouptherapy Taijiquan (tai chi group), control group using functional exercise therapy(functional exercise group), two treatment regimens for12weeks of treatment.Beforeand after treatment on the efficacy and the patient’s anxiety, changes in shoulder pain, shoulder joint function improved, shoulder muscle surface electromyography andmuscle testing.Shoulder composite score using Constant-Murley scale score; surfaceelectromyography and muscle strength assessed using the shoulder muscles lead U.S.production Noraxon16DTS systems and wireless telemetry EMG Rally testing, andsupporting analysis MyoResearch XP Master Edition software. Using SPSS17.0statistical software to complete statistical analysis. Statistical methods: Classificationdata using chi-square test; rating data using Mann-Whitney U test; two samples werecompared with normal distribution is used if an independent t test, do not meet withthe rank sum test; themselves if they meet before and after normal distribution is usedpaired t test, do not meet with the rank sum test.Result:1. The two groups in age, gender, no significant difference, P>0.05years comparable between groups.2. Before treatment and after treatment were compared to scores of anxiety andfunctional exercise tai chi group were significantly different (P <0.05), in which thetai chi group showed significant differences in state and trait anxiety scores beforeand after treatment on (P <0.05), functional exercise group trait anxiety before andafter treatment there was no significant difference (P scores>0.05), anxiety total scoredifference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05).3. Tai chi group and functional exercise group before and after treatment painscores were significantly different (P <0.05), Tai chi group is superior to thefunctional exercise group.4. Tai chi group and functional exercise group before and after treatment ofshoulder function activity scores were significantly different (P <0.05), shoulderfunction activity score difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05), the degree of improvement in functional exercise was better than tai chigroup.5. Muscle strength scores were compared before and after treatment weresignificantly different (P <0.05), muscle strength score difference between the twogroups was not statistically significant (P>0.05).6. In the two groups before and after treatment of shoulder joint comprehensivescoring total score difference comparison does not have significant difference (P>0.05), the overall efficacy of similar between the two groups had no statisticalsignificance (P>0.05).7. Active muscle iEMG Integral Tai Chi group and P values compare functionalexercise group before and after treatment in all directions activities <0.05,antagonistic muscle iEMG Integral Tai Chi group before and after treatment weresignificantly different (P <0.05), functional exercise antagonistic muscle groupsbefore and after treatment was not statistically significant integrated iEMG (P>0.05).8. In follow-up, between the two groups was not statistically significant overalleffect of rehabilitation (P>0.05), but the tai chi group improved more than thenumber of functional exercise group, the number of relapse fewer than functional exercise group. Conclusion:Two groups of treatment of periarthritis of shoulder were achieved good clinicaleffect, can improve the periarthritis of shoulder pain, shoulder joint function inpatients with restricted movement and muscle strength. But the tai chi group in theimprovements in pain is superior to the functional exercise group, And functionalexercise group is better than that of tai chi in improving joint function activities.Taichi group was significantly better than the functional exercise group in terms ofimproving patient anxiety effect.Tai chi group active muscle, antagonistic musclesenhanced synchronization, collaborative development, the altissimo dorsal, trapeziums compensatory diminished capacity, The function is only active muscleexercise group increased, and the trapeziums persistent tension. After the treatment, the sustainability of the tai chi group is better than functional exercise group, Andhave very good treatment, prevention effect and long-term effect on the patient’squality of life improved.
