| The society’s demand for innovative talents with high quality calls for effective learningof university students. With the changing curriculum knowledge in complex situations, onlyafter really understood can university students actually comprehend and have insights intoknowledge, flexibly use and transfer knowledge, so as to master the ability of creativity.University students’ learning for understanding powerfully responds to challenges ofknowledge economic age and new learning environment. Thus, study on university students’learning for understanding in network environment plays an important role in universitystudents’development, talents cultivation and society progress.This study aims to answering the following questions:‘‘what’s the connotation oflearning for understanding of university students’’,‘‘how to evaluate university students’understanding’’,‘‘what are the factors influencing university students’ learning forunderstanding in network environment’’ and ‘‘how to facilitate university students’ learningfor understanding by network environment’’.In the section of theory exploration, the study firstly explained the meaning ofunderstanding in various fields, defined the orientation of learning sciences and understandingperformances, interpreted the connation of learning for understanding of university students.Subsequently, questionnaires assessing university students’understanding level were designedon the basis of conversation. After exploratory factor analysis, a four levels measurementindex including comprehend, apply, analyze and create was proposed. Thirdly, combing theconcept map of factors influencing understanding with characters of network environment,this study analyzed inner and external factors affecting university students’ learning innetwork environment from dual perspective of individual and external environment.In the part of action research, the curriculum ‘‘TV Program Edition and Studio’’ wastaken as an example. In this process, we kept changing inner and external factors influencinguniversity students’ learning by inverting learning sequences, designing derivative questions,organizing activities for understanding and carrying out comprehensive evaluation with thesupport of web-based teaching platform. Through a three-round action research, we keptevaluating and reflecting so as to investigate the actual influence of varies of different factorson university students’learning with understanding in network environment.At last, this study analyzed data collected from materials including: questionnairesbefore class, students’ learning records in network platform, teaching video, experimentalreports, experimental works, feedback questionnaires etc, with the triangulation method toevaluate students’ knowledge understanding levels and real abilities. The main researchconclusions are as follows,1. The most efficient way for university students to achieveknowledge understanding is to participate both in theory thinking and operating practiceactivities.2. Teachers’ teaching approaches significantly affect university students’ learningapproaches, which play important roles in students’ understanding.3. Web-based platformcreates learning environment in and out of class, automatic learning and cooperative learningare the most beneficial ways to attain understanding.4. University students’ previous expects for learning and inner motivation have big effects on students’ understanding level.5.Students’ cognitive understanding levels are related with their emotions, attitudes and actionskills. Meanwhile, this study proposed useful suggestions to promote university students’understanding. |
