In the situation of Chinese rural education reform continuous improvements, as theinitial phase of education, the preschool education has become more and more concerned bygovernment. Rural kindergarten principals are the core force of rural preschool educationcadres, and they are the first leaders and governers of the rural kindergartens, theirprofessional level represents their kindergartens’ quality level at some point, that’s why theprofessional development for the rural kindergarten principals is so important. Training is themost direct way for developing the principals’ specialization, and the reforming direction oftraining is to make the training become more effecitive. The current training system of ruralkindergarten principals becomming mature, but there are still many problems exist whichcause the training effect cannot maximize for the principals. In this research, I collect andanalyze the theory of principal professional development, principal training and ruralkindergarten principal training scheme, as well as investigate the actual situation of ruralkindergarten principal training and the real training needs of the principals. Try to find outand solve the problems during the process of rural kindergarten principal training, finallyoffer some strategies and suggestions, hoping this research can provide some help to deepenthe reform of rural principal training.In this research, I take a"preschool teachers national training plan" short-term ruralkindergarten training project participants as an object of investigation, researchmethodologies of literature review, questionnaire survey and interview survey were utilizedfor data collection, try to find out the problems of training,and try to analysis the cause of theproblems according to the training related subjects,and put forward reasonable trainingprogram strategies according to the actual demand of training of rural kindergartenprincipals.
