Research On Junior High School Geometry Inquiry Learning Platform Design

Geometry course is the study of quantitative relation and spatial form, learning geometryplaying a very important role to help students enhance their problem finding ability, problemsolving ability, logical thinking and abstract thinking. Geometric is indispensable in students’learning career, so the degree of learning geometry has a direct impact on the development ofstudents. Geometry has an important status in the junior middle school mathematics, it is animage more discipline, most knowledge will with graphics has the close relation, so thestudents’ logical thinking and abstract thinking has a very high requirements. But thetraditional education methods, it is difficult to cultivate students’ logical thinking and abstractthinking, many traditional teaching are all teachers impart knowledge directly, not to let thestudents get plenty of exercise of thinking. So we need a suitable way for student’s study-inquiry learning. At the same time, in the traditional way of teaching encounter all sorts ofdifficulties. For example, when drawing a graph, in order to save time, teachers often onlydraw a small amount of graphics on the blackboard, if not extrapolate, it will be very difficultfor students to learn. Another example, to verify that a fixed point problem, teachers couldnot show all the position to the students. But by information technology and network tools caneasily do it.According to the development direction of junior middle school students, combiningwith the characteristics of junior high school geometry learning at the same time, the use ofthe inquiry learning in junior middle school geometry teaching way, and will be applied to theinquiry learning in network environment, to cultivate the students’ ability to analyze and solveproblems, and further improve students’ logical thinking and abstract thinking.First, demonstrating the topic’s background, significance, current situation and researchcontent.Secondly to constructivism, discussing the theoretical basis of inquiry learning. Andthrough learning to the junior middle school geometry curriculum standard to judge thedifficult point.Then analyzing the geometric subject knowledge point, sorting the contents ofknowledge points, and designing the corresponding way to support it. Through the analysis ofthe various modules, junior high school geometry inquiry learning platform is designed.At last, through the actual case study for student to carry on the practice of teaching.From practice in the study concluded that the junior high school geometry inquiry learningplatform imposed a good support for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.
