| Biology is a Basic subject of the natural sciences, with a special focus on thedevelopment of comprehension. The comprehension of Biology core concepts is always aimportant target of Biology teaching. In order to know the situation of students’comprehension of Biology core concepts, we need to measure it. However if you want toensure the veracity of measurement results, to ensure the quality of assessment tools at first,so to establish a test paper which is scientifically reflect the level of students’ capacity is veryimportant. Searching from the previous studies there is little study on developing theconceptual comprehension assessment tools, lack of attention to the students’ conceptualcomprehension. In this study we try to use the Rasch model of IRT to modify the tool ofcomprehension assessment.Wish to establish a test paper which is scientifically reflect thelevel of students’ capacity, and on the basis of the result try to conduct a practical research.The achievement of this study will lay a foundation of forming the methodology system of thecomprehensive evaluation, deep the reform of biology curriculum. Meanwhile provide newmethods for evaluation Research of china, providing an important reference for the evaluationof the comprehension, provide scientific basis for educational practice, provide a scientificassessment tools classroom teachers.The specific research process of this study consists of three parts, they are establishmentof comprehension evaluation system, preparationã€verify and adjustment of comprehensionassessment tools, conduct a practical research of comprehension evaluation——for exampleof high school cytology concepts. IN the first part, mainly through literature〠interviews andDelphi method to determine the dimensions and index at all levels of the rating scale,Finally confirmed the level1dimension has five elements, the index has21elements. Thesecond part mainly use Rasch model to statistics and analysis of the small test data,further tomodify the initial paper. The third part mainly uses the independent establishment paper inthis study to conduct a practical research. Finally obtained the following findings:1ã€modify the paper by Rasch model repeatedly, Eventually formed a cytology conceptstest paper with25items. The final test results of Rasch model show that the test paper has agood reliability and validity and every evaluation is excellent. Which description that the assessment tool has a good test performance, it can be a good tool to response students’ability levels.2ã€We got each students’ individual ability lever in class2and class10grade two ofPanshan high school. Look from the overall level, the students’ average lever of class2issignificantly higher than class10. This is consistent with the fact, it also indirectlydemonstrated the assessment tools’ practicability in this study. |
