The21st century is a great new era, in which, the whole world is beingconnected together by information technology. In future, the competition andcollaboration between regions and/or countries will more depend on culturalenhancement, not only economic development.Today, culture has been becoming a soft power. But, unfortunately, in China,more and more Chinese people have known less and less Chinese culture. For somehistory reason, the Chinese cultural vacuum phenomenon has occurred heavily. Thistends to be all-regional and in all-ages, especially in children and teenagers. We cansay that at the moment China is experiencing the deepest level of missing oftraditional culture all over the country. Heilongjiang regional culture, as a part ofChinese culture, is also missing and forgotten. It has become an important andimmediate task to integrate Heilongjiang regional culture into K-12instruction.Firstly, this paper analyzed and defined the Heilongjiang regional culture. TheHeilongjiang regional culture’s integration into information technology instructionin classroom, the internal fusion of knowledge-learning and culture-learning, andrealization of both instruction of information technology and heritage ofHeilongjiang regional culture are the targets of this issue. Secondly, the paperadopted the PBL to restructure teaching content. Multiple teaching strategies areused together, and project-based learning mode is the main one. Every unit activityhas evaluation on its prophase, interim and late stage separately. Thirdly, for students,it has enhanced understanding of Heilongjiang regional culture, improvedconsciousness of culture protection and heritance, by action research on informationtechnology instruction’s merging with cultural education. Simultaneously, it alsoproves that it is feasible to take advantage of information technology to realizecultural communication and penetration teaching.The research on information technology instruction’s merging with cultureeducation has large space for development. Information technology has its openness,humanity and instrumentality, and corresponds to truth, expressiveness,multi-discipline and modern which regional culture has. These features can fullydevelop student’s consolidated potential. It will be a long way to facilitate Chinese culture into technology instruction,and it will need all the researchers contribute on it continually.
