Practical Exploration On Social Work Interferes In Urban Adaptation Problem Of New Generation Of Migrant Workers

Migrant workers are a special group of our society conditions, which is shapedby social structure，but also can influence and change the development and stability ofour society. With the passage of time, the new generation of migrant workers beganto board the big stage of China’s industrialization and modernization process, andbecome the main part of the new industrial workers. Compared with the oldgeneration of migrant workers, them lack of honest and diligent, but they are full ofpassion and ambition, desire for more rooted in the city. However, city inherentinstitutional obstacles and man-made barriers, making them difficult to really adapt tothe urban society. Focus on new generation of migrant workers, strengthen theresearch them to adapt to the city are very important to understand the new generationof migrant workers, explore the law of adaptation to urban life, and enhance theability to adapt to the city, improve the quality of life, and promote the harmoniousdevelopment of urban and rural areas.This paper tries to solve the urban adaptation problem of new generation ofmigrant workers from the perspective of social work. Author is relying on theinternship experience in an industrial park in Shenzhen, and takes the form of fieldresearch, comparative studies and literature reviews gathered relevant information.From on, the author analyzes the new generation of migrant workers to adapt to thecity from three aspects analyzes: economic adaptation, social adaptation and mentaladaptation. And then the author analyzes the feasibility，through case work and groupwork concrete examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the service, and put forwardthe social work in the path to solve the problems of the new generation of migrantworkers. Finally, based on the insufficient about social work interferes in urbanadaptation problem of new generation of migrant workers, the author from threeaspects: social workers, the government and the enterprises put forward thesuggestions, in order to further improve the social work service mode, rich socialwork ’s theory and practice research and migrant workers service.
