The transition of teacher role under the New Curriculum Reform is always the problem concerned and studied in contemporary research on education and teaching. Teachers on the front are always thinking about the position of teacher role. In recent years, many education researchers do some research on teacher role in different degrees. They put forward Expert Teachers, Reflective Teachers, Scholarly Teachers and Intelligent Teachers. This paper tries to understand teachers and class teaching from a new perspective of movie. Be a Director Teacher in class teaching, traveling freely between movie and teaching and integrating the idea of Directors in class teaching.This paper adopts analogy research to illustrate the Director Teachers and their practice strategy systematically and theoretically. The research consists of the following parts.The first part is a preface, which explains the research background, research meaning, research method and defines the related core concepts.The second part is literature review. This paper analyzes and teases the related research status from the summary of the director type teaching mode, the research status of the Director Teachers and teacher role.The third part makes analysis about the value of the Director Teachers, which is divided into four aspects:lessening teacher verbal hegemony, creating pleasant classroom atmosphere, contextualizing classroom teaching, breaking through teaching material restrictions.The fourth part mainly describes the characteristics of the Director Teachers. This paper explains the understandings of the Director Teachers specifically from four aspects:the Class Screenwriter, Teaching Idea, Teaching Language and the Director Type Teaching and the Performing Study.The fifth part is about the construction of the Director Teachers’ ideal class, which consists of seven parts:teaching set, class perspective, teaching studio, teaching scene, teaching distance, teaching regional space and teaching view box.The sixth part depicts the Director Teachers’ practical class. This paper has a specific explanation on the Director Teachers’ practice strategy from three aspects, which is made up of teaching design, teaching process and teaching evaluation. This paper firstly explains the theoretical supposition of the class in last part, then this paper explains the other three aspects specifically, which aims at realizing the ideal class.The last part is conclusion. This paper makes a summary about the Director Teachers and their practice strategy by analogy research between movie and teaching and puts forwards wishes for later class teaching research.
