Modern prose teaching research in middle school Chinese teaching has been attached greatimportance to the content of the teachers. This paper researches it from the perspective of history, theoryand practice. The Dissertation is divided into four parts.The introduction defines the concept of “modern prose” according to the teaching practice. It reviewedthe research results briefly from two perspectives: the basic teaching research and expanding teachingresearch. At the same time, this part also states the research significance and research method.The first chapter mainly analyses the changes of teaching method. Also, it states the vicissitude of theteaching material. First, we face to the long-term impact of “red scarf teaching method”. Second, the mainway of modern prose teaching has changed from one to more in the new period. In the end, this paperanalyses some middle school teaching material.The second chapter is to discuss the modern prose teaching experience, problems, and methods. First,it summarized and promoted the existing experience. Second, it analyzed the main problems we are facingin the modern prose teaching. These problems are mainly about the students’ reading ability is insufficient,and aesthetic education in prose teaching has yet to be improved. On this basis, this paper investigated thereformation of modern prose teaching methods. This reformation contains two aspects, one is emphasizingthe comprehensive understanding of prose style characteristics, one is training student’s ability tounderstand.The third chapter is concrete practice based on the theory. This paper uses the teaching design of HeTang Yue Se as a example. It clarifies the teaching design of basic teaching idea. At last, it designs theclassroom teaching process.This paper concludes this research in the ending part.
