The rapid development of the preschool education career draws more and more attention to theimportant role of preschool teachers, and the construction of the preschool teacher team has become animportant issue in the field of preschool education. Preschool teachers’ turnover refers to the internal flowof the early childhood teachers in education system (including flow between different schools or differentregions) and the external flow between vocations. Many previous research results has shown that earlychildhood teachers flow too frequently, in the long run, this will block the development of preschooleducation. So it is necessary to study and discuss this problem in depth. This research is a case study using the method of narrative research, including interviews ofteacher Z,teacher L and teacher W in depth, supplemented by the interviews of teacher S and teacherE.This paper describes stories about different stages concerning their entry to the kindergarten, when andhow they changed their ideas, their choices between staying or leaving. Then explores the influences ofexternal environment factors and personal traits on their turnover decisions, by description and analysis oftheir story in a perspective of personal career development. At last, puts forward effective countermeasuresand suggestions to promote preschool teachers’ personal career development and the construction of stablepreschool teacher team based on the previous analysis.
