As one important part of social work, social work for women is a working field which appears based on the female problems in economy and politics, and its aims are improvement of women welfare and encouragement of self development. However, as a kind of administrative means, Chinese work for women has offering services for women and this work organized by Women’s Federation and supported by public policy from reform and openness. The importance of this work is taking on work in advocating equality between men and women, preventing family violence and fighting poverty, and the work for women is taken by a kind of from top and down administrative means. But with the development of society and diversity of women’s requirement, solving women’s problem just relying on Women’s Federation cannot satisfy with the now days women.
