Even though more attention has being paid to primary and secondary students’mental health education, it remains grim to secondary students. In this study a juniorschool in Shanghai was randomly selected, and the researcher applied "MiddleSchool Student Mental Health Sale of China "(MSSMHS) to measure the mentalhealth level of620students in this school. The results of data analysis by using spss19.0show that mental health level of junior students are significantly different ingrade, gender and other dimensions, and then the reasons for these differences arediscussed. In addition, the preparation junior students with high score in MSSMHStest are screened to receive the psychological intervention, and the effect of thegroup intervention is investigated.The results show that:(1)1/3about junior middle school students have differentdegrees of psychological problems;(2) preparation grade and the third gradestudents are facing the new and upcoming because school entrance, in hostile,paranoia, learning pressure, emotional imbalance, anxiety factor problem moreprominent; the overall level of junior high school psychology the best of health;(3)there is a greater problem in the mental health status of boys than girls.(4) the moreprominent preparatory students is forced, emotional imbalance, anxiety, studypressure factor, compared with all the students there are similar, there are significantdifferences on hostility and preparatory grade students of grade two;(5) the groupintervention activities can help prepare freshman to improve adaptability, and reduceneonatal unfamiliar the environment of anxiety, hostility; let the students have abetter understanding of self, to help students improve their self-esteem andself-confidence;(6) intervention program used in this study can effectively alleviatethe preparatory students prominent force, emotional imbalance, anxiety, theformation of a complete solution of operation intervention sex is strong, canpromote the use of curriculum development in the reserve grade.
