With the continuous development of society in our country,the universities areexpanding at an high speed and put more emphasis on the teaching quality which hasbccome a decisive factor in their survival and development. Student evaluation ofteaching effectiveness is an important policy for the teaching quality assurance system,and there are various of complex problems worthy of discuss.the study of studentevaluation of teaching effectiveness is of great practical significance.Performance technology is a rapidly development research area recent year.As akind of systematic approach,it can provide a new thought for di111cull problemssloving. While it have been applied in fields of business,some researchers begin to payattention to the application of performance technology in education field.The paperpurposes to make performance technology apply to the student evaluation of teachingeffectiveness, find problems and put forward solutions through the example, hope toprovide some references for the improvement of university evaluation work.The paper is divided into four parts. The ifst part is introduction. It includesbackground research,the research status inside and outside,the purpose andsigniifcance of the study, the methods and line of research, major achievement.The second part is the theory integralion of the performance technology andstudent evaluation of teaching effectiveness. This pari dicusses the feasibility oftechnology performance applying to the student evaluation of teaching effectivenessibnn the concept, theory,content, characteristic and method.The third part is application of performance technology in student evaluation ofteaching effectiveness. This part contains four steps:pcrformancc analysis,causeanalysis, intervention selection,design.and development, intervention implementationand change. Combined with a university as a case, this part identifies the performancegaps from the status of the student evaluation of teaching effectiveness and thecxpccted objective. Analyses the problems and find out the reasons using BehaviorEngineering Model summarizes the analyzing chart for reason. According tothe analysis results, this part brings forward the intervention on the basis of mportanccand economy, sums up the evaluation system flow chart.Then selects some programsto implement and evaluates the effect.At last,sums up the performance technologymodel that ift for the student evaluation of teaching effectiveness.The fourth part is summary.This part summarizes the major achievement andresearch proccss,discusses the shortage and the content what will he studied.
