Popular culture is sought after by high school groups as an indispensable part of modernlife. This is decided by the basic features of popular culture. Popular culture deconstructedthe culture of all class. It brought about the culture of traditional senior and lower, elegantand vulgar into negative. Popular culture only valued presence which is forming a set ofcultural production-consumption relationship. Popular culture re-names the localknowledge, as well as to eliminate the differences between regionalism and nationalities. Itcan be said that popular culture is a specific culture without regionalism and nationalities.These are the factors which influent high school students in such an easy way. Popularculture is related to a large amount of area. Some of it such as entertainment, dancing music,popular literature, buzz words, short messages have a significant impact on high schoolstudents. It brings a positive and negative impact to them. It can enrich the reading style ofhigh school students as well as develop diverse ways of thinking. However, it also brought anegative impact of legible form digitizing technology, reading aesthetic vulgarizationdecadence of reading attitude, reading level plain of reading emotional banter and so on. Thisarticle attempts to look for the negative impact of countermeasures about the reading fromfeatures of high school students. First, we should eliminate antagonistic relationship betweenthe popularity and tradition. Second, followed by text undecided and restrictivecharacteristics of the process such as reading text call-depth reading. Third, looking forstudents’ reading expectations, using of students’ reading expect to wake up the enthusiasmof them and deepen classic reading influence strongly enriched in a legible form. Languageteacher should stand this position on the teaching of reading so as to help high schoolstudents overcome the reading problem of popular culture with negative background.
