School-based curriculum development is an important content of new curriculumreform in our country. It has played an important role in the school characteristicconstruction, teacher professional development, students’ personalized development, andnothing can replace. The study take curriculum development and research learning as theguidance of the theory, combined with senior school biology book which make use of localspirit resources and the influence of the local culture. We do research on school-basedcurriculum to development “spirit, spirit culture and life." The course includes analysisenvironmental, setting goal, organization curriculum, implementation curriculum andevaluation curriculum and so on; we Aimed at promoting learning style of students andchanging the way of teaching, arousing the interest of student and improve practical ability,meanwhile,the study guides students to pay attention to life, health, social, and localculture, sense of students’ honor, the objective improve the students’ biological scienceaccomplishment and the promotion of teachers’ professional development. The resultsshow that school-based curriculum about “spirit, spirit culture and life” completed thecourse objectives better, improve the comprehensive quality of students, at the same time,improved the theory and practice ability of teachers’ school-based curriculum development,this course is effective and feasible.
