The Chinese teaching in the secondary vocational schools can not simply follow the way in secondary schools or vocational institutes considering its specific focus of personnel training and students'characteristics. Based on the related theory in teaching methodology, psychology, curriculum theory, study theory, this thesis points out the school-based curriculum resource development is necessary for the teaching and development of secondary vocational Chinese for tourism management majored students. Followed by the research on the Shihu local culture, its pedagogical meaning, shihu local culture can be divided into three parts: its natural scenery and scenery of humanities, Fan Chengda and other well-known poets'poems and its local customs. This thesis devotes great parts to the discussion of ways of Chinese secondary vocational curriculum development: poetry reading, writing of tour commentary and discussion followed by three cases: Fan Chengda and Shihu, I will be the tour guide of Shihu scenic spot, believe everything in books is worse than have no books at all. And this thesis tries to provide meaningful extension and supplementary to the secondary vocational Chinese teaching, expanding the horizons of language education, promote curriculum reform and education for all-round development.
