In2003the Ministry of Education issued the "ordinary high schoolgeographycurriculum standard (Experiment)", proposed the "learning tolive usefulgeography","emphasizing inquiry" and other new concepts ofgeographicalproblems. And in high school geography "compulsory3""sustainabledevelopment" in the content clearly require the use of caseanalysis method ofcompiling and teaching. It is of great practicalsignificance because of the highschool geography case teaching.First of all, the author deals with a lot of case based teaching ofliterature reading, the case teaching related concepts were defined, andthe theoretical analysis of the classification and form, content of the highschool geography case law.Secondly, by means of questionnaire, investigation analysis on thethree dimensional teaching target Mongolian high school geographyteachers of case teaching in teaching and case teaching situation, obtainsthe high school geography case teaching reflects the life of teaching;teacher of main, auxiliary case different teaching method, lack ofauxiliary case guide; focus on teachers of different main, auxiliary case,students on the main, auxiliary case content to grasp the existencedifference; analysis of geographic chart has the most students in the caseteaching, but its research capacity needs to be raised in the case teaching;teacher-student interaction, the lack of independent inquiry learning; caseanalysis of case teaching in the first the principle of induction, after theprinciple deduction to similar cases; view of teacher of emotion attitudeand value understanding is not in place, ignore the cultivation of students’affective attitude etc.Thirdly, in high school geography case teaching problems, putforward the importance of auxiliary case teaching, and paying attention tothe guidance of teachers; strengthen the interaction between teachers and students, advocating independent inquiry learning, improve the students’ability to study problems; to strengthen the cultivation of students’affective attitude and Countermeasures in case teaching.Finally, the results of the study are summarized, prospect putforward the problems in the research and the future prospect of therelevant research.
