With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,geography teaching pays more attention to cultivate students' ability for self-learning,cooperation,exploration and innovation.Therefore,the case teaching method has been widely concerned,and actively promoted and used.Gansu Province is also active in the implementation of case teaching.Geography teaching in high school also needs to use a large number of cases.Regional geography is especially a typical example of case teaching in high school.However,how to apply the case teaching in the regional geography teaching of high school in Gansu province,how to design the geographical case rationally and make the regional geography teaching better concern a lot of first-line geography teachers.This paper studies the application of case teaching in the regional geography teaching of high school in Gansu province,focusing on the problems in case teaching of geography,and puts forward the solution strategy.Finally,through the teaching examples it aims to study the feasibility of the strategy and the experimental results,and to further deepen the case teaching in Gansu Province in high school regional geography teaching research.Part 1:IntroductionThis part mainly summarizes the research background and practical significance of the application of geography case teaching in high school.It briefly introduces the research purpose and content of the thesis,as well as the research ideas and methods.It summarizes the research status at home and abroad,the existing problems in current research,and provides a new way of thinking for this paper.Part 2:the basis of the application of case teaching in high school geographyThis part mainly analyzes the theoretical basis,practical basis and the role of case teaching in geography teaching in high school.Firstly,the author puts forward the basic theory of case teaching.Secondly,it expounds the basic viewpoints of multi-intelligence theory,situational learning theory and the features of geography.Thirdly,it discusses the positive effect of case teaching on the regional geography of high school.Finally,the author expounds the characteristics and problems of the cases in high school geography curriculum,in "compulsory 3" and the guidance and enlightenment of the case teaching in the regional geography teaching.Part 3:the application of case teaching in the regional geography teaching in high school in Gansu provinceThis part is the key content of this paper,based on the investigation of case teaching in regional geography curriculum in Gansu province,it intends to find out its current situation as well as existing problems,then combining the actual situation,it attempts to put forward the corresponding solution strategy.Part 4:teaching examples of study,taking "desertification control" as an exampleThis part is focused on the practical application of case teaching to the high school class as an example.Through the student questionnaires and the teacher self-evaluation,this part aims to conduct an evaluation and feedback to the effectiveness of case teaching applied in high school geography.Part 5:ConclusionThis part summarizes the whole paper.It summarizes the basic conclusions of this paper,and puts forward the existing problems and the problems that need further exploration and research in the future.
