With the popularity of higher education in China and the enrollmentexpansion of colleges and universities in recent years, students increased yearby year, number of poor students is very considerable. In this background, inthe face of psychological health problems of poor college students areincreasingly diversified, diversified, most college students only use traditionalstudents management methods, the administrative department coaction.Therefore, school social work in colleges and universities, is imperative.Paper mainly includes the introduction, the current situation of poorstudents psychological investigation practice, school social work methods inthe application of mental health education of poor students, conclusion and soon several parts. Thesis the first part is to study the general situation of theresearch background, research, research purpose and meaning, and this paperdeserves to define the concept of involved. In the second part, the authorthrough the questionnaire, interview, this paper introduces the site situationinformation, the statistical results of questionnaire, interview and case. Thethird part is the key part of this paper, a study of school social workintervention.In this paper belongs to the youth political college of Inner Mongolianormal university as an example, from the perspective of school social workconcept and, through the questionnaire survey and case interview of poorcollege students mental health status of the research. Through thequestionnaire survey and case interview, the author found that poor collegestudents mainly exist college freshmen to campus environmental adaptation,learning, interpersonal communication and so on three aspects. Finally, theauthor in this thesis tried to work through the method of group social workintervention, to solve the contemporary interpersonal obstacle problems ofpoor college students in common.
