As there are more and more pressure, the growth of college students’ psychological problems also willexhibit complex features. Over the years, we have based on the school’s administrative system and themental health of college education, but its single method, students can not easily be accepted. This researchtakes the concept of school social work method,and this is applied to college students’ mental healtheducation, through the integration of individuals, families, schools, communities, and other variousresources, establish linkage mechanism school social work and mental health education combined, with "self-reliance " philosophy core, greatly improving the performance of mental health education. In this study,drawing on existing research at home and abroad on the basis of40interviews were conducted,300questionnaires distributed,294valid questionnaires were recovered, in order to carry out a systematicstudy of the current situation and the plight of college students’ mental health education to explore out ofschool social work intervention research-oriented mental health education, such as in the form ofindividual self-empowerment to improve the ability to communicate and cooperate with the initiative toadvocate visiting college students, etc. and select appropriate strategies for the students to create ademocracy, equality, harmony learning environment, to make up for the limitations of the existing schoolmental health education model, to better promote the development of students’ mental health.Through the survey, we found that mental health of college students involved in social work andstrategic way there is no significant difference in the nature of the school. But the focus on familyeducation and university community education superior to ordinary schools, complete counseling places,system security standards, complete household economy and other aspects of family structure in goodcondition and universities are also better than ordinary university. In the various factors that affect students’mental health social work approaches and strategies for implementation, the more significant factor is thehome, school, community lack of communication, not enough emphasis school, family, communityawareness and capacity problems and lack of personnel guidance of the scientific method.47.6%ofrespondents felt that the school emphasis on low or lesser degree,60.5%of respondents believe thatmental health education and social work faculty with less than ideal; addition,96respondents believe thatfamily, school, community of almost no communication between, accounting for32%of the totalrespondents.Through the school staff, parents, community workers, such as interviews, we found that parents and community mental health education of college students seemed to be somewhat helpless, and muchdepends on the school. Therefore, we must make the parent and community involvement in schoolmanagement, training a sense of ownership, collaborate together to complete the mental health educationof college students. Specific implementation of social work intervention in mental health education carriedout mainly from four aspects: self-education, family education, school education and community education.Their role is to: school-led, student self-education as the core, and fully mobilize domestic resources, andactively seek to help the community, and strive to integrate resources to jointly promote the healthypsychological development of students.
