The Chinese grammar teaching in middle school developed affectingby linguistics, particularly the development of the theory of Chinesegrammar teaching. It was influenced by traditional grammar teaching,become the most important part of secondary language teaching beforethe1990s. That time grammar teaching in the form of rules as the center,to teach grammar knowledge as the goal, it was as far as languagepractice. By the time of1990s, The Chinese educational circles affectedby some so-called " weaken the teaching of grammar", even " notteaching”in the name of " weaken " in the teaching practice, so thatgrammar teaching got into the dilemma of "disappeared". Thephenomenon is caused a lack of knowledge of the language grammarknowledge in the Chinese knowledge system to the middle schoolstudents. And the lack of knowledge of grammar directly led to decline oforal expression skills, reading comprehension, ability of practice writingfor the middle school students’.Take an objective view and approach of development towards to thedevelopment of the theory of linguistic change, it can be enlighten us tochange the grammar teaching in the high school. Look back the Westerntheory of teaching grammar, the period of traditional grammar、translationmethod is a typical representative of the form centers, rules of grammarteaching is high valued, about after from1940s to1950s, the audiolingualmethod、 second language acquisition theory and communicativeteaching method had made grammatical teaching into the trend of"weaken grammar", however implicit grammar teaching became the majortrend. But since the1990s, people were interested in the center of form ofthe grammar teaching,in the study and discussion of explicit teaching ofgrammar emerge new trends. In order to clarify the context of changes and development ofChinese grammar teaching, and to clear the role of theory behind thedevelopment of such a change in language, to analyze the impact ofdifferent grammar teaching concept to middle school, to explore changingthe current " weaken grammar" brought the question of teaching. Thispaper starts at the background of " weaken grammar teaching" home andabroad, and take it to analyzes the status of Chinese grammar and pointedout the problems that the current secondary language teaching grammar.Then based on those, I proposed "implicit-arouse-explicit"、“form-function-Pragmatic" secondary language grammar teaching ofdouble reverse type three stages. I hope that it can be explore a new wayto improve students’ teaching efficiency of Chinese grammar thorough bytrace the roots, reflection and innovation.
