A Case Study Of Characteristic School Creating Base On SBCD

At present, with the long development of new curriculum reform andquality-oriented education, the school system is also changing. The school goals is tobuild specialist school. In practice, so many schools have been working to get thisgoals. But every school has different situation, so the school chose the different waysto built specialist school. However, these are many schools chose SBCD. The reasonis that SBCD is based on the school practical situation, it can embody school’scharacteristics.The research is based on case study method, used qualitative research approach,made an in-depth survey of X School in Chongqing. In fact, the research has beenmade12times individual interview who comes from different grades. I gotten eightrecorded materials. I interview the school headmaster and c0lllect three recordedmaterials. I has taken five observations, collected the photos/class schedule/teachingplan and Event Planning. The paper based on the observation,present the ways ofstory and describe the process of building specialist school and the situation ofdeveloping SBCD. At last, based on the situation of research, summarize theachievements and deficiency, getting some enlightenments to other schools.During the situation of building the specialist school, we can divided into threesteps: to posit the special, to form the special and to develop the special. X primaryschool is based on school song to posit the special education-Children’s Literature.After the positioning, the school began to built the characters in programobjective/course content/curriculum implementation and curriculum assessment. Xprimary implement many activities expect curriculum. It promotes school’sdevelopment. In order to making the develop of SBCD to get better, the school applyfor many issues. During the process of development, although suffer manydifficulties, the school think ways to solve, it made school special characters smoothgoing well. X primary school based on SBCD to built specialist school is give us someinspiration:1.The school should posit the special character and formed a professionalteam of teachers;2.The school should develop the curriculum activities to form theschool’s characteristics;3.The school should made issues to promoting specialcharacters;4.The school should rethink the question and reduce the hinder topromoting the development of school.
