Education is the foundation of an important project lasting for generations.Atpresent, rural education has attracted increasing attention, but to develop and improvethe rural education lies in teachers. Without good teachers, there is no good education.Ideological and moral education of teachers in rural junior middle schools is animportant part of rural teachers, to a large extent determines the standard of ruraleducation, affecting the harmonious and healthy development of the rural education.Therefore, building a noble ethics, business skills, reasonable structure of high qualityof rural junior ideological and moral teachers’ team is imminent.Chongqing is a big city and it has large rural areas, according to the end of2012,two-thirds of the total population of more than3300, among which the people living inthe countryside, the largest number of rural teachers, there are17more than tenthousand people, the basic cities decides to raise the level of the overall quality of thecontingent of rural teachers in Chongqing is necessary. Therefore, the Chongqingmunicipal party committee and Chongqing people’s government actively promote thedevelopment of the teachers in rural areas, and it has achieved remarkable results inmany ways. But the city urban and rural education development is not balanced,especially the problems existing in the construction of rural junior ideological and moralteachers’ team is prominent, it seriously restricts the improvement quality of teachersin rural areas in Chongqing City. Therefore, research the construction of rural juniorideological and moral teachers in Chongqing has a certain theoretical and practicalsignificance. This article is divided into five parts, the first part is introduction, it mainlyelaborated the research background, research significance and research method. Thesecond part is the analysis of the current situation of rural junior ideological and moralteachers in Chongqing City. Through the questionnaire survey to analyze the currentsituation, and identified from the analysis of the present situation of the main problems:the structural contradiction of teachers is prominent, teachers’ level is low, low levels ofteachers’ treatment and status, professional sense of honor is not high. The third part isthe cause of the problem of the rural junior ideological and moral teachers in Chongqing.In view of the current existing problems, this article from the urban-rural dual structure,insufficient fund input, teachers management system is not reasonable, has carried onthe reason analysis its problems. The fourth part is the suggestions to strengthen theconstruction of rural junior ideological and moral teachers in Chongqing. Incombination with the actual situation of Chongqing rural, this article puts forward thecountermeasures and suggestions from these aspects: the integration of urban and ruraleducation construction as a whole, increase investment in rural education funds, perfectthe teachers’ management system, strengthen teachers’ own professional beliefs. Thefifth part is the conclusion, summarizes the full text and points out the deficiency of thisarticle and the direction of future efforts.
