With the blog is widely used in all walks of life, it has affected every aspect of our lives, including work, leisure and entertainment, deep learning and life, but also affect the school education, each field of national political, social and economic, social and cultural, especially in the teaching, the blog more in-depth impact. We take the social development perspective, provides the opportunity to blog features for the cultivation of innovative talents; The teaching goal perspective, The blog into teaching helps learners to acquire tacit knowledge; With the application of new technology in teaching perspective, Introducing the blog technology will change the teaching idea and teaching strategies. The blog in the auxiliary teaching how to make the teaching function into full play is a very valuable research topic.Through literature research shows that:in China, the exploration and application of blog in education circles are already exists. Under the impact of education information, the blog aided teaching will also be conform to the requirements of the times. Compared with other major in Colleges and universities for the blog application, study on Blog Application in geography teaching is still in the initial stage. Therefore, relevant research blog and geography teaching will be more significant and valuable.This study first mining and tidied the blog theory in teaching, analyzes the theoretical basis of the blog with the actual teaching in the teaching application. After fully understanding the characteristics of blog and advantages of teaching based on the blog, through the blog assistance teaching, in addition to the limited geography classroom teaching, based on the establishment of a blog network teaching platform, in the actual situation according to geography curriculum in Colleges and universities, design blog aided College Geography teaching mode, develop specific strategies for the application of blog in the teaching of geography, the blog is applied to the practice of geography teaching, and finally through the questionnaire survey method to discuss the influence of Blog Application in geography teaching.In this study, three aspects of blog influence on teaching results mainly learning from students to blog usage attitude, the enthusiasm of the students and teacher-student relationship analysis. Practice results show that the application of the blog auxiliary way in college geography teaching support the most students, interested in the blog aided teaching mode of interest. And through the establishment of blog assisted college geography teaching, the students’ autonomous learning ability has played a significant role in promoting, expand access to knowledge, expand their knowledge, enhance the communication between teachers and students, to stimulate students interest in learning, improve teaching quality.The results of this study can use blog auxiliary teaching teachers to provide some theoretical guidance and practical experience, both has the important meaning in the teaching theory and teaching practice.
