In this thesis, the author did a research on the meaningful of folk song teaching for middle school students, which applied the corresponding music teaching theory and combined with author’s teaching experience. The thesis is mainly about the effect of folk song in the middle school education and for students learning ability. The author made confirm through the statistics. Besides, the author proposed the teaching methods that can carry out the folk song teaching, so as to put theory into practice.There are five chapters in this thesis:The first chapter is the introduction. It briefly introduces the significance of folk song in middle school education.The second chapter is the function of folk song for students’ ability in the middle school.The third chapter is mainly about the folk song teaching arrangement of class hour and the experiment.The fourth chapter is the conclusion of this paper. The majority findings of the study and pedagogical implications on folk song teaching will be mentioned in this chapter.
