As China's international status is rising,many foreigners to China has generated great interest,Chinese has gradually become a very hot thing in foreign language learning.At present,there are more and more foreigners who want to learn Chinese,and there are many overseas students and minors who come to China with their parents.The upsurge of Chinese learning has promoted the development of Confucius Institutes and various international schools in China.Through the four-and-a-half month internship study at the Hanova International School in Xi'an,during daily Chinese teaching,we found that many students have some problems about writing Chinese characters.From the student feedback,they feel difficult to write Chinese characters,to understand stroke order and structure.According to the view that in general people's mind,the more difficult the knowledge the more attention should pay.But at the same time we found that Chinese teaching in the Xi'an Hanova International School,Chinese characters teaching seems not get enough attention.Many students and even Chinese teachers have certain problem on the Chinese characters stroke order,the norms of Chinese characters,such as:there are many learners think that as long as the final writing of Chinese character is not in a wrong shape,it's acceptable;Incorrect writing stroke order has very little influence on the appearance of Chinese characters.Thus,there is no need to dictate the accuracy of stroke order,which creates a poor understanding of Chinese characters during many writers(even Chinese teachers).This article discusses the meaning and importance of stroke order teaching,turns out Chinese characters writing situation in International schools is not optimistic.Through the existing norms of Chinese characters and teaching research,sort out the three forms to explain the discipline of Chinese characters writing.In view of the situation in Xi'an Hanova International School,this article selects two representative primary school classes as examples,analyzes the present situation and reasons of the Chinese characters teaching of foreign students in different countries,and discusses the international school Chinese characters Stroke order teaching operability,advocate stroke order to systematic and targeted unity,practicality and game of unity.At last,some advises are given based on the problems that found in teaching experience.These problems are not only in Xi'an Hanova International School.Through asking school teachers,students from other schools to learn we found that this issue has a certain representation,Chinese norms teaching is ignorant in Xi'an High-tech International School,Xi'an International School and some other provinces international schools' Chinese class.This article puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of Chinese characters and the teaching of Chinese characters in Chinese class of foreign students in international schools by combining some of the teaching methods of Chinese students' stroke order in Xi'an Hanova International School.Try to find the balance between language expression and Chinese writing teaching in Chinese classroom in international school,which makes the teaching of Chinese characters more theoretical basis and operability.
