Objectives: Through the group experiments on the obesity, the effects on fat loss ofhigh-intensity interval training and aerobic exercise have been compared. The statisticsshow that the effect of the high-intensity interval training for fat loss and slimming ismore efficient than that of the aerobic exercise, which provides more references for theobesity. Methods: Through some research methods such as documentation method, experimentalmethod, mathematical statistics method, etc,40obese men are randomly divided into thehigh-intensity interval training group and the aerobic exercise group and take theexperimental tests for12weeks. These two patterns of exercise are contrasted in terms ofthe effects on obese men’s fat content and improvement of fitness. Results: Through the12-week exercise for fat loss, the physiological indicators ofhigh-intensity interval training and aerobic exercise before and after the experiment arechanged as followed:1. Weight, BMI, waist-to-hip ratio and fat content: the effects of the two groups havebeen improved obviously before and after the experiment, which have significantdifferences (P<0.01). But the effect of high-intensity interval training is better than that ofthe aerobic exercise. And the differences between them are obvious (P<0.01).2. The cardiopulmonary fitness level: The cardiopulmonary fitness level in twogroups have been improved obviously before and after the experiment, which havesignificant differences (P<0.01). But the effect of high-intensity interval training is betterthan that of the aerobic exercise. And the differences between them are obvious (P<0.01).3. The fitness level of the muscle: The stamina levels of the muscle in two groupshave been improved obviously before and after the experiment (P<0.01), but there areminor differences between these two groups (P>0.05). There is no obvious difference inthe experimental results of the stamina levels of the muscle before and after for theaerobic exercise group (P>0.05) while that for high-intensity interval training group issignificant (P<0.05). There is no obvious difference between these two groups (P>0.05).4. The fitness level of the flexibility: The fitness levels of the flexibility in two groups have been improved obviously before and after the experiment and the changesare significantly different (P<0.01), however, the differences between these two groupsare minor (P>0.05).Conclusion:1. After the12-week exercise for fat-reduction, the high-intensity interval trainingand aerobic exercise have greatly improved the effects of obese men’s fat loss. Bothexercises can reduce obese men’s fat content effectively and strengthen their physicalquality.2. Through the experiment, it can be concluded that the effects of the high-intensityinterval training on improving obese men’s conditions of weight, BMI, waist-to-hip ratio, fat contents are more obvious than those of the aerobic exercise.3. Through the experiment, it is found that both exercises make obvious effects oncardiovascular fitness levels, flexibility fitness levels, and body compositions of obesemen.4. Fat loss through exercise can take the form of exercise prescription to ensuresafety of the obesity during their fat loss.
