With the rapid development of China’s international society and economy, artistic types have become much more colorful. Folk paper-cut, as one of the most important categories, is increasingly understood and adored by the whole world, and has a significant impact on the basic art education of primary school. Therefore, Elementary Art Education reform is the trend of the times. In order to synchronize with the world, New Curriculum Reform of domestic basic art education has been brought up on the agenda, carried out in multiple times. Integration of curriculum resources precisely conforms to the New Curriculum Reform for diversity, flexibility, and diersification. Therefore, in order to implement the requirements of the New Curriculum Reform-emphasis on cultivating students’hand-brain coordination, ability to innovate on the face of the rapid increase of creativity, and the thinking ability to extend and expand, I made a research on the integration of Yiwulushan Manchu paper-cut and school-based teaching materials of primary art in this paper. In the research and practice of those years, I read plenty of materials and summarized the current situation and the importance of Yiwulushan Manchu paper-cut. Folk paper-cut art is not only an importanting part of primary art educations, but also a significant part of the development and utilization of resources, more importantly, is a branch of New Curriculum Reform. At the same time I made a survy and investigation of art teachers and students in my elementary school, and even observed lessons of some outstanding art teachers. I found that, although the New Curriculum Reform has been carried out many times, elementary art education still gets little improvement. The reasons might include:Quite a large proportion of teachers is not qualified enough for elementary school art book categories, and some even are not able to fit students’demand, especially some separate categories of Art; there are still many art lessons teaching tedious content with monotonous teaching and conservative learning; most students are not interested in art class, especially to the students in grades5or6.In this paper the current situation of Yiwulushan Manchu paper-cut in basic education in elementary art education and benefits of integration of Manchu Paper-cut and Art Curriculum in Primary school are both discussed. Strategic studies to improve teachers’overall quality, strengthen exchanges between teachers and students, and establish a better art class evaluation system including the experimental classes and art societies are also come up with. And through the integration of Yiwulushan Manchu paper-cutting and Art textbooks, overall quality of students’Art is improved ultimately.
