Art learning is inseparable from the use of tools and materials, materials of diversity can enrich the form of works of art, students in art learning using traditional materials and new materials to create works also embodies the new curriculum of art curriculum practice. Paper material are widely used in various fields of life, has the advantages of easy shaping, easy to color, easy to produce a new texture features, and the distinctive artistic effect, both environmental protection, convenient collection, easy to carry, low price and high security features, and other materials compared with great advantage. Compared with the other art Activities, through the paper material combined with the use of art tools folded or cut out lines and shapes, choose different colors or through the late color, using skillfully paste to create a sense of space and light and shade change or making different texture and so on many kinds of techniques, can stimulate students’ imagination and a new ability, improve students’ artistic perception and practice ability.The full text is divided into four parts. The first part through access to information about the paper materials to create art form, combined with the characteristics and advantages of paper materials, paper materials in the primary school art class in the use of practical significance analysis. According to the proposed in the second part of the primary school art and craft lesson classroom situation exists some problems, in the third part were a series on teaching materials of paper characteristic practice exploration, sorting out the use of unit teaching, cooperative inquiry learning mode and the establishment of diversified evaluation system to effectively carry out the strategy paper teaching material. In the fourth part of <variety Anthocephalus chinensis>,<mighty shield>instructional design and course Paper-cut interest group activities to explore other paper material and elementary school fine arts teaching combined with the case analysis. Through the paper materials combined with the research and exploration of the practice teaching can encourage teachers to update their concepts of education, in-depth research study fine arts teaching implementation of the method and the way of innovation education in the process of, active in art class on developing students’ creative potential, and then improve the students’ ability in real life.
