For development, LD Polytechnic of Guangdong has employed foreign teachers since2005. Every year, the cost on hiring foreign teachers at the college is very high. But the foreign teachers haven’t worked there with high positive attitude and enthusiasm. Their teaching effect is bad. The expected goal of recruiting foreign teachers hasn’t been achieved at the college. The paper is to study how to manage the foreign teachers of LD Polytechnic of Guangdong effectively with incentive, so that the foreign teachers’ work enthusiasm, initiative and creativity can be stimulated, which will achieve a good teaching effect. Besides it could probably make LD polytechnic of Guangdong more attractive to the excellent foreign teachers who are willing to take the positions of the college and to work there for several years, which would match the development demands of LD Polytechnic of Guangdong. At the same time it would provide the inspiration and reference for the incentive management to the foreign teachers of other Polytechnics in China.The paper tried to know and understand the present situation of the incentive management to foreign teachers of LD Polytechnic of Guangdong through the questionnaire survey and interview method. Via analyzing the result of the questionnaire survey and interview, the paper found many problems lying in the incentive management to foreign teachers of LD Polytechnic of Guangdong and the cause to the problems, such as:no punishment incentive regulations to foreign teachers, no reasonable evaluation incentive system for Foreign teachers’performance, without reasonable and perfect salary incentive to foreign teachers, and the lack of the spiritual incentive to foreign teachers at the college etc. To solve the problems, combining the related incentive theory and the research achievement on incentive abroad and in China, the paper worked out the innovated incentive management strategies to the foreign teachers. In order to improve the current incentive management and enhance the foreign teachers’ teaching effect, LD Polytechnic of Guangdong needs to raise punishment incentive system, to perfect performance evaluation incentive, to improve salary incentive, to add and strengthen spiritual incentive. At last, in order to ensure all the innovated incentive management strategies can be put into practice successfully, the incentive managers of LD Polytechnic of Guangdong should establish the correct management consciousness. And the college should expand the management team, enhance the managers’ability to manage incentive for foreign teachers, and reinforce the construction of foreign culture on campus. At the same time, LD Polytechnic of Guangdong should set up and carry out different incentive system to foreign teachers.
