The trend of the world cultural development is irreversible, provides newopportunities to study the gender consciousness, the connection point of Chineseeducation as the two aspects, so the language teaching plays the most important roleof the important carrier. At present, domestic and foreign experts and scholars havepoint of view from a variety of materials of gender consciousness are studied indifferent degree, the author uses the existing research results and the relevanttheoretical knowledge, to the person teaches the version high school languagetextbook as the research object, combined with the multicultural era background,re-examine the problem of gender consciousness in Chinese teaching material.The full text is divided into five parts. The first part is an overview of research ongender awareness in senior high school language teaching from the perspective ofcultural diversity, value connotation of the multicultural and gender awareness andresearch separately to explain. The second part is the analysis on the present situationof research on gender awareness of domestic and foreign language teaching materials,introduces foreign and domestic status analysis. The third part is the study of languageteaching gender consciousness related theory, introduces gender theory, feministtheory, social learning theory and the humanism psychology theory. The fourth part isthe analysis of our high school language textbook gender consciousness frequencymulticultural perspective, respectively, frequency analysis in the traditional conceptand multicultural perspective, and comparative analysis of two parts. The fifth part isthe Enlightenment of Chinese textbook for senior high school from the perspective ofgender awareness of cultural diversity, pay attention to the role of women fill, payattention to the diversity of women’s roles, attention to diverse male character, somesuggestions for teachers. This paper fills up the blank of gender consciousnessresearch in multicultural perspective, enriches the theory research in the field ofgender consciousness, reveal the current version of teaching in the Chinese teachingmaterial weaknesses and shortcomings, puts forward some personal views on thepreparation of teaching materials, to provide some suggestions for teachers in theteaching materials, and ultimately help students to establish equal genderconsciousness target.
