With the improvement of our Chinese society and people’s quality of life, civic education hasgradually become the important topic in our social transition. Our moral education is gradually translatinginto school civic education. Since junior school students have a very complicated developing sequence ofbody and mind, which belonging a special period of adolescence. Their unbalanced development of bodyand mind, contradictory inner thoughts and poor self-control will lead to lose control of feeling,then causesome unreasonable even illegal behaviors. Therefore, the legal education for teenagers has become one ofthe important tasks that presenting moral education in school, and it is also the necessary part of civiceducation. As the crucial media of moral education, moral course textbook can be improved by editors viaanalyzing the legal education part in the text, and the analysis is also useful for educator to make full use ofthe textbook and for educatee to acquire knowledge actively.The thesis can be divided into five parts. In the first part, it introduces the origin of this research andsorts out the former research achievements. It also analyses the relevant definition and creativelysummarizes the content of civic legal education.In the second part, it will analyze four parts of civic legal education separately by combining itsdefinition and content. The four parts will be stated as following: the first one is the education of individualsubjectivity, referring to the subjective consciousness in the civic legal education; the second one is theeducation of civic rights and obligations, referring to the legal education about civic consciousness of rightsand obligations; the third one is the education of civic fairness and justice, referring to the equalconsciousness of modern citizen, or the contract spirit in the life; the forth one is the education of civiclegal knowledge, referring to the cultivation of civic legal consciousness.In the third part, it presents the distribution of civic legal education in the textbook throughquantitative form, and quantitatively analyzes the content of legal education in the textbook from theaspects of legal knowledge, legal skill and legal emotion.In the forth part, it describes the features of this textbook (Shanghai Education Press Edition)including rich region color, international and practical content. In the last part of the thesis, it lists some problems of legal education in the text, and presents somepersonal points of view.
