Learning motivation plays an important role in excitation and maintenance of students’ learning,it directly affects the efficiency and effect of students’ learning. Since the implementation of the X TownJunior Middle School Students’ Chinese motivation and no significant change of the new curriculum reform,even more than the former is decreased, serious impact on the improvement in the quality of languageteaching, this caused me to think deeply. It is understood, this is the case in many places especiallyprevalent backward rural areas. In this paper, through investigation on junior middle school students’motivation of learning Chinese in a rural Henan province X and research, clarify the specific problemsexisting, to explore the causes of these problems, puts forward the improvement measures, to promote apositive role on Junior Middle School of our country backward rural areas students language learning.According to the relevant motivation theory to develop a student questionnaire, has carried on theinvestigation to the X town primary school. Survey found that junior middle school students in languagelearning: to succeed in every intention is not high; the internal motivation is low; the lack of indirectmotivation perspective; internal and external motivation are prone to adverse transformation.All factors of the author, and teach the experience according to oneself in the local years, thequestionnaire on students, parents, teachers and the interviews, found influence students’ language learningmotivation problem has four factors, which are individual, family, school, society. In the fourfactors,individual factors is the lack of language learning needs, interests and self-efficacy; languagelearning atmosphere, learning resources, teachers and school factors of influencing students’ languagelearning motivation, the teaching method of Chinese teachers use a priority among priorities; social factorsare mainly the influence of Chinese social culture is useless.Based on these factors, the base station in the local on the learning situation,finally gives thefollowing countermeasures: first, to stimulate students’ interest in philology, cultivate internal motivation;then from the aspects of fostering the students’ learning motivation, common indirect vision language; thenguides the students correct attribution, achievement motivation and improve; guide the students motivationof reasonable conversion; finally appealing the education government to introduce some teachers andchange the Chinese teacher teaching idea. These coping strategies related to micro classroom details andmacro concept of education, in order to help Henan province to work behind the junior middle schoolChinese education in rural areas.
