With the rapid development of our country, it arises that society needs more specialized people with talent and ability. Therefore, in order to meet the need of the country and improve the competitiveness of students, it’s necessary to vary and enrich evaluation methods, meanwhile enabling students to achieve the development in different fields. In the new curriculum reform, many schools are adopting diversified methods to evaluate students, trying to consider students with new standards and contributing to certain development of diversified evaluation.Now one of the diversified evaluation methods adopted is to evaluate students through portfolio assessment, which greatly makes up the shortage of traditional writing test. However, certain problems arise in the practice, such as fuzzy goals of evaluation, lack of perfect evaluation system, over-simplification of evaluation subject, which lead to misunderstanding, misusing and even abandon of portfolio assessment evaluation.As about the fact above, the essay takes the learning of biology experiment as the example. In the light of certain research works and the requirements to experiments from curriculum standards as well as questionnaire and survey about experiment condition in Fuxin Second Senior High School, it is supposed to make up the former shortage and set up an evaluation system of biology experiment, including reasonable design of goal, confirming evaluation content and subject and exact method to every item. Then through empirical study of portfolio assessment evaluation, the effect and feasibility can be analyzed in test grade and experiment ability.The author has carried out the empirical study for one term. Through continued effort and attempt, the following conclusion can be drawn:(1) High school biology experiment learning portfolio assessment from the theory and practice experience of integration is an effective attempt.(2) The learning of high school biology experiment can be carried out based on the evaluation system of portfolio assessment.Application of biological experiment study portfolio assessment, students need to complete the whole experiment scheme design in advance, to the pre-assessment of the experiment, causes the student to clear the whole experiment process,make the purpose of the experiment more clearly, and the application of various kinds of evaluation questionnaire, guiding students each step experiment, improve the efficiency of the students’ experiment.(3) High school biology experiment learning portfolio evaluation is the effective measure to improve students’ enthusiasm.Application of biological experiment study portfolio evaluation increase the participation of students experiment significantly, stimulate the enthusiasm of students experimental study effectively.(4) High school biology experiment learning portfolio assessment is an effective method for training students’ scientific research ability.Make up for the shortcomings of traditional evaluation file evaluation, pay attention to the experimental process, training the experimental thinking, exercise experiment skills, promote students to research staff.(5) In the biological experiment study portfolio assessment is an effective measure to improve teacher’s professional accomplishment.Portfolio assessment from the subjective to the objective evaluation to promote teachers’ evaluation thinking, the focus on results to the transformation of the process, to some extent, improve the teachers’ professional quality.2. As for the shortcoming of portfolio assessment of biology experiment in practice, the suggestion for improvement has been put forward to support further and better adaption of it. |
