At the background of information and globalization, the speed of updating knowledge becomes sooner and sooner, the social demand for talent is changing increasingly, In order to adapt to society for more specifications, multi-level, thick foundation, wide caliber professional talented person’s demand, adapt to the needs of social and economic development of talent, timely change the talents training goal of simplification in colleges and universities. To change this situation, teachers should be teaching fully, at the same time the students’learning freedom should be respected. Only in this way, the students’ personality, ability to innovate to better show.The literature review shows that the researchers on the freedom of choice of course, more pay attention to the historical and literature research, but the lack of relevant empirical research on quantitative analysis. In this paper, on the basis of the literature researchers, combined with the questionnaire investigation and informal interviews. By investigating the following conclusion:University curriculum lack of flexibility, learning scores on the high side and a small proportion of the courses, the quality of optional courses should be improved; the course management needed to strengthen and course selection need to be guidance. To improve university students’ course selection freedom on countermeasures, can from the following several aspects:Change the traditional education ideas, strengthen guidance for undergraduate course; Perfect the relevant policy and system, expand the autonomy, flexible curriculum management system; Rich teaching resources, to strengthen the construction of school hardware facilities and teachers.
