With the development of science and technology and the progress of the society, the increasingly high demand for the quality of human culture, students’ innovation ability and practice ability as the standard measure of talent, in order to cultivate talents for the future development of society, the new education idea and the education thought in the world."In origin type" teaching method in twentieth Century50’s Britain, was introduced into Chinese20. The participation type teaching pays attention to students in learning the subject status, the leading function of teachers, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between students and students, using rich, intuitive teaching methods so that students’ active learning, and the cultivation of students’ thinking and practice ability. And can the knowledge into practice, so that they truly feel truly fun learning master. This method is the traditional "spoon feeding" teaching method thorough subversion, has the sense of milepost.The article aimed from tennis teaching effect, make a series of analyses on the participation type teaching method to teach tennis course specialized in physical teaching to practical application effect. In addition, carries on the detailed elaboration to the point of participatory teaching method in university tennis teaching, and the use of a questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, comparison between the full range of participation type teaching method and traditional teaching quality.In order to do on the participatory teaching methods and analysis, in this paper,1classes of Physical Education Department of Zhengzhou University sports education specialty as the experimental class and class2for the control class of boys as the research object, the participatory teaching methods in the teaching research in tennis courses. The results showed that the participatory teaching methods in the experimental class and the control class using traditional teaching method on students’ learning interest, learning initiative, the mastery of the technology has notable difference. The results show that:the participation type teaching method is helpful to improve the students’ enthusiasm and initiative; participatory teaching is helpful to improve the students’ interest in learning; participatory teaching helps to improve teaching effect; participatory teaching is helpful for students to master tennis technology.
