In the new era,Knowledge renewal and technological development are changing with each passing day,There are new requirements for the knowledge,ability and quality of talents.Optimize the teaching effect,Cultivate excellent talents,The most important way is to renew the teaching mode and change the teaching method.The Circular of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on printing and distributing the outline of the national medium and long term education reform and development plan(2010-2020)clearly points out that,Talent training should pay attention to the combination of learning and thinking.It advocates heuristic,inquiry,discussion and participatory teaching to help students learn how to learn.In February2019,the State Council issued "China education modernization 2035",which also emphasized the cultivation of students' practical ability,cooperation ability and innovation ability.In the process of talent training,we should change the way students learn,change "wanted to learn" into "want to learn",Pay attention to the main position of students in the learning process,All round training "high","fine" and "sharp" talents.This paper is based on the participatory teaching mode of competence based education,This paper discusses its concept,characteristics and significance in many aspects,Combining theory with practice,the participatory teaching mode is introduced into the practice teaching of table tennis required course of social sports major in Colleges and universities,In the process of education and teaching,students' subjectivity is constantly emphasized,Exercise students' autonomy and participation in the learning process,Improve the traditional teaching mode,Establish the participatory teaching mode under the ability based teaching thought.The methods of literature,interview,teaching experiment,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis are used in teaching experiment.Class B181,social sports major,Department of physical education,Hebei Institute of Environmental Engineering(30 boys,5 girls)and Class b182(29 boys and 7 girls)has 71 subjects,Try to control the teaching mode as the only variable in the whole teaching experiment process.Through the comparison of students' study interest,study motivation,special technical achievements,students' practical ability,curriculum satisfaction and many other aspects before and after the experiment.The following conclusions are drawn:1.Participatory teaching mode can effectively improve students' autonomous learningability;2.Participatory teaching mode can effectively increase the practice time of students;3.Participatory teaching mode can effectively consolidate students' mastery of technical actions;4.Participatory teaching mode can effectively exercise students' practical ability;5.The application of participatory teaching mode with a targeted goal should be effectively implemented according to the goal of talent training.
