Modern poetry is always one of the important part of the Chinese teaching material of high school,new curriculum standard of senior high school Chinese textbooks compiled some modern poetry but alsoput forward higher requirements for teaching the new Chinese course standard of high school of modernpoetry. However, in the reality of high school Chinese modern poetry teaching in a very awkward position.On one hand, because in recent years the college entrance examination does not test on modern poetry,Chinese teaching by the college entrance examination baton effect, teachers in the teaching of modernpoems on attention degree is not enough, long-term neglect of modern poetry teaching leads to lack ofteaching research. On the other hand, the network of mass "shallow reading" era, students are accustomedto entertainment fast-food culture lost interest in learning of modern poetry. Originally edify sentiment, cultivating the modern poeticemotion expression become tasteless chicken ribs in teaching. A series of subjective and objective factorsmake the Chinese modern poems have great deficiency in teaching ", and comprehensively improve theirlanguage literacy" is to draw further apart. At the same time, modern poetry in aesthetic experience, literacy,humanistic care, life experience has important educational value, thus promoting the reform of high schoolbe imperative and Chinese modern poems teaching.In this paper, under the background of new curriculum reform, combined with the new curriculum topromote comprehensively improve students’ Chinese accomplishment basic concept based on the analysisof the present situation, modern poetry teaching in high schools, and according to the stylistic features ofmodern poetry, from the strengthening of background knowledge; pay attention to reading, to grasp therhythm; creating situation, carefully feeling deep reading; use, creating new chapter on Strategies of teaching modern poetry in four aspects, to provide theoretical support for modern poetry teaching in seniorhigh school.
