Humanism education holds the extremely important status in the history of the development ofthe western education thought. Ideological and political education in middle school play a unique andirreplaceable role in the formation of students’ outlook on world, outlook on life, values. The application ofthe humanism education thought in the ideological and political education in middle school is the importantcontent and basic task, which has a positive effect on education reform and students’ personal growth. Theideological and moral quality has a very important significance. At the same time, humanistic educationalso has defects and limitations. As China’s ideological and political education workers, we should todiscard its dregs and absorb its essence, serving China’s ideological and political education work.This paper is divided into four parts: the introduction part expounds the significance of studyingthe subject, humanistic education thought in the world has an important impact, as the domestic educatorsshould absorb the essence used in our educational work. At the same time, this paper summarizes thecurrent research status at home and abroad, because the origin of the ideological education in the westhumanism psychology, more related studies abroad, more unique perspective; in recent years with thedomestic education reform, domestic scholars have gradually increased. In this paper, data access methodand empirical analysis are the main research method. Finally, the theoretical and practical aspectsinnovations of this paper and in the quantitative data deficiencies are pointed out.The first chapter of humanism education and ideological and political education and discusses thebasic theory, analyzes the origin and development of humanistic education thought, humanistic educationthought the origin can be traced back to ancient Greece and ancient Rome era, Quintilian etc. many thinkershave on the humanistic education thoughts. This paper expounds the connotation of humanistic educationthought, the humanistic educational thought of humanistic psychology and the western humanismeducation thought foundation, human based, to foster the education thought of self realization or completehuman education purpose. The base of our ideological and political education and the main characteristicsof the middle school in our country, the ideological and political education is refers to the country, politicalparties, social organizations, social organizations struggle in order to achieve the goal of the pursuit of political ideals and, for students of political, ideological, moral education, practice or the effects ofapplying the corresponding. The specific characteristics of the middle school thought political educationperformance to establish correct ideological and political ideas to help students, change the ideological andpolitical behavior of students.The second chapter mainly analyzes the humanism education in Ideological and politicaleducation of middle school in the application of main problems: the student understanding existencedeviation, the lack of ethical concern, disjointed and mass media impact four major problems and reality.These problems are mainly due to the impact of economic globalization and multi information, studentinformation processing of social information capacity and other reasons.The third chapter analyzes the necessity of the application in the ideological and politicaleducation in high school ideological education, put forward the basic principles for the application ofhumanism education thought, finally from the "strengthen the team construction of ideological and politicaleducation, respect students’ personality, reform" the reform of the curriculum and the examination and theteaching four aspects, discusses the application of measures humanism education in ideological andpolitical education in high school.
