With the advent of the knowledge explosion era of the growth of information, the’amount of information and knowledge that humans have are growing at a rapid pace. Higher education is the foundation for training senior talents, technical cultural development and the promotion of modernization. The Ministry of Education emphasis to improve the quality as a core mission of reform and development of education, improve the quality of teaching is not only to improve the overall quality of the "teaching", but also to enhance the "science" of comprehensive ability, but more is the change and improve of the learning environment to fit teaching methods and learning. The institutions of higher education is a place to let educatees get a lot of general knowledge and professional skills, the quality of the learning environment is an important factor to affect the transformative quality of teaching and learning information, with the forward wave of educational reform, the construction of learning space to adapt the new teaching and learning is imminent. Learning efficiency is affected by environmental factors to a great extent, the purpose of this paper is how to structure the space environment for high-efficiency learning.This study is divided into four levels:First, the urgency to improve the quality of teaching in colleges and universities, and the effect of the learning environment effected by the change of the teaching method and learning style in the background of new time. Second, through the study of high-efficiency learning, summarized the influence factors of the efficiency of learning and the relationships between the factors, discussed the environment requirements of efficient learning space, mainly discuss the effect of physical environmental factors on the efficiency of learning. Third, on the basis of study on the existing learning space characteristics and physical factors, according to the change of teaching and learning style, summarized the features of the learning space in the future, and figure out my own opinion on the learning space for the future. Fourth, on the basic study in the above, make the physical factors of learning space as the physical factors of learning space, through the analysis of the survey of "high efficiency learning about space" concluded the effect of physical environmental factors on the learning efficiency and the related degree, improvement measures according to previous research and investigation analysis. Finally, this paper refined the other factors that affecting the learning space, such as indoor lines and greening, learning furniture and so on, provide the theory and design reference for constructing the high-efficiency learning space.This paper is written from the design point of view, make an intensive study of the environment of learning space mainly, analysed the physical environment characteristics of learning space with the method of interviews, investigation and so on, with the target of building an efficient learning environment, in order to create an efficient, comfortable, healthy, environmental learning space and provide the construction of efficient learning space with the’ guidance of theory and design practice.
